COMMUNITIES
1. Community - São Paulo
Founded in 1971, the Provincial Headquarters welcomes the Sisters of the Christ the King Province and also those who identify with Augustinian spirituality and collaborate with the education and human promotion of those who come to the house seeking moments of calm and prayer.
2. Formation Community- Our Lady of Aparecida - São Paulo
It was founded in 1982. The activities of the community are offering activities such as coordination of CEBs, formation of leaders, catechesis, children's ministry, assistance to women , tithing, liturgy, among others. It remains inserted in pastoral work and provides special assistance to children and teenagers at Centro Educacional Santo Agostinho – CESA.
3. Community Center - Our Lady of Good Counsel - Jundiai - São Paulo
This community was founded in 1969, in Jundiaí, on the top of a hill, surrounded by gardens and woods. It is a center of spirituality and encounters, welcoming and serving the most diverse groups of pastorals.
4. Santa Rita of Cassia - Belo Horizonte
It was founded in 1959. The Sisters remain engaged in the mission of promoting, educating and evangelizing lives and transforming the reality experienced in the region.
5. Mater Consolations Community - Rio de Janeiro
The Community's history began on July 2, 1954 in the Lins de Vasconcelos neighborhood. The community is involved in Santo Agostinho Social Integration Center – CISSA, developed for children in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability
6. Our Lady Mother of God - Catalão
The birth of this community in 1921 marks the first foundation of the Augustinian Sisters in Brazil, being considered the Motherhouse. Sisters Natividade, Gorrochátegui, Mercedes Iriarte, Esperança Garrido, Paz Hernandez and Inez Lopez
engaged in the mission of educating the region's youth, but they also began to dedicate themselves to evangelizing pastoral care, to the Parish of Our Lady Mother of God, to the Rosary prayer group and to activities aimed at lay people. through the “Ritas”, Augustinian Lay Community.
7. Santa Monica - Soure
Founded in 1959, in 2009 it took over the project Mother Evangelina Welcome Center – CAME and extends to the present day its activities at the College and in the various pastorals. In addition to providing daily service to the entire school community, it also guides the Lay Community and Grupo Mirim.
8. Our Lady of Light - Portel
The Community Our Lady of Light was founded in February 1978 with the purpose of collaborating in the pastoral care of the Our Lady of Light Parish with the Augustinian Recollect Fathers, taking over the pastoral care of the catechesis, confirmation and liturgy; riverside communities; and youth vocation ministry.
9. Mother Querubina - Breves
It was founded in 1966, in Breves, to expand the Augustinian presence on the island of Marajó and to take on the educational ministry at Colégio Santo Agostinho.
The Sisters began to teach classes, and were also part of the Parish, working together with the people in different areas, including: Youth Ministry, Catechesis, Cutting, Sewing and Vocation Ministry.
